Birthday Wishes

Morning all

Here I am back for my weekly post for

today I made a birthday card and I used

Dies -  Oval Frame
Papers - Harvest Meadow
Image - Harvest Mice

I used a create and craft half scallop card blank

I used cream as the contrast card and added the lovely designer paper on top.  I created a panel using a Martha Stewart punch and added some more designer papers on top.  I cut out the oval frame and stamped onto this, I then distressed through the die to make the soft shading.  I stamped and cut the sentiment out using a Desire circle die from the round accordion set, I used galaxy gold brilliance ink to distress the edges of the circle.  I added a bow, the flowers and the tonic gold pearl drops to finish.

I love the detailing on this Desire die, it perfectly frames the new sentiments.

The image is coloured in copics on this occasion

Australian Leaving Card

Good afternoon

I recently made a leaving card for one of my receptionists, who had taken the chance of a lifetime and is moving to Australia for a spell.  She will be sadly missed.  So this was the card I made for the colleagues to sign to say goodbye.

It is a 10" Easel Card.  The papers I located on the web, they are Australian maps.  The image is from Make it Crafty, well it is two merged together.  I used the Sue Wilson double pierced squares for the panels and wrapped ribbon around the card and added a lovely bow.  To finish the Sue Wilson pierced flag with the computer generated sentiment, the charms, the pearl heart and the florals.  I edged it with the pearl and rhinestone bling and matched this on the easel stoppers.  The inner sentiment was also computer generated.. I added a few tonic pearls to complete.

The image is coloured in copics

She loved it, I am pleased to say.

Thank you for taking the time to view my blog

Halloween so soon!!

Morning all

Here I am back for my weekly post for

today I made a Halloween Card, I know a  little early but just wanted to show those gorgeous new products so, I used

Image - Halloween Cat
Dies -  Little BatBat Border

The card is made using three large squares scored diagonally, I used Sue Wilson's double pierced square dies to create the and the layers.

I used black as my contrast and some fabulous digi papers that I found years ago on the internet.  I added the border down the front, placed my image on a nestie die, added some bats before adding the lovely matching bow a couple of orange tinged roses a bling base for the centre of the bow ( I filled the bling base with tonic drops to create a large black cabochon and used the turquoise tonic drops to finish off.  I added some tiny weeny rhinestones for the detailing on the image.

The image is coloured in copics and I used my scan and cut to cut out a mask.  I placed the mask over the image and then used my airbrush to create the night sky to match the papers.

Don't forget my current candy - in the side bar :) and if you pop over to the Wild Rose Studio blog, there is some more candy there too.

I will be back again soon and thank you for taking the time to view my blog

Polish Wedding Card

Good morning all

I have had quite a few orders recently and this is one of the orders, it was a request for a classy wedding card with Polish wording. It is okay, the person asking for it gave me the wording so I got it correct.

So you know what it says here is the translation: Newlyweds = Just married

So here is the card.

I created an 8" square card base and used gold mirror card to compliment the white.  The top layer is white card with double sided transparent on top.  I added some creative expressions glitter jewels in Iced Snow to this, before running it through the swirly embossing folder.  I used the Sue Wilson Herald Square three times in the gold to create the central focus, adding the sentiment cut out with Sue Wilson pierced flag.  I added a white ribbon bow, a frosted white rose, some Sue Wilson gold cue cut leaves and some gold and white tonic drops to finish.

I hope the recipient liked it.

Don't forget my blog candy in the side bar.

thank you for taking the time to visit my blog and I will be back again soon

Happy 29th Birthday

Good morning to you all

A little while ago I was asked to create a card for a colleague for her 29th Birthday, so this is what I came up with

This is an 8" easel made with white card stock.  I used Sue Wilson's double pierced rectangles to create the layers.  I added micro beads onto the top layer, double rhinestone strings around the edges.  I used my scan n cut to create the numbers, and used pearl strings to decorate around the numbers.  I added mini rhinestones on the numbers a little WRS butterfly in foiled pink and two sprays of flowers.

I loved playing and she loved it, which was more important.

Hope you had a lovely weekend

Thank you so much for being patient with me

Morning all

Here I am back for my weekly post for, but before I move on an explanation of my tardiness for returning comments and not posting as often

My son and his fiancee are staying out ours at the moment with Violet (2 years old) as you can imagine, the new room for my craft was going to be his, until they had to move in due to the living conditions in their old flat.  On top of this after 15 years my lovely Matt is now seeing his son.

Oh and Michael and Bo are expecting, so I am going to be a grandma for the very first time, be gentle with me I am still getting use to the idea lol

So a little busy in our lives at the moment, so I hope you will accept this thank you for being patient with me card so onto my

creation, I used

Papers - Harvest Moon

The base was created from cream card stock to meet the size of the Sue Wilson die.

I cut the dies two outer layers and then glued these to the paper trimming off the excess, I added this to the card blank and then added the sentiment on one of the older WRS dies using a small nestie die to cut the sentiment.  I cut out the image with my scan n cut and added a bow and some orange apples and a pearl brad trimmed to the bow.

I added gold tonic drops around the sentiment and the frame border, to the flower centre and around the Sue Wilson die.

The image is coloured in copics.

Don't forget my current candy - in the side bar :)

I will be back again soon and thank you for taking the time to view my blog
