A Pop of Shocking Pink and Exciting News

Morning all

Oh my I have kept this quiet for a little while, although Ali did mention it and showed off my lovely little Wedding car a little while ago on the challenge blog, but today I can officially say I was thrilled to be asked to join the

From September 2012 proud to say

and I am on the Ribbons Team, now if you know me and my ribbons and bows, well this just suits me down to the ground :)  So I have now added the links to the shop in my where to shop page (well it was already there) and added the link to the challenge and inspirational blog in my side bar.

The challenge this week is

Stitching Real or Fake & Ribbons

I wanted to get started playing straight away, and had just ordered for a big Wedding order some wow shocking pink wide ribbon so decided to do a black and white card with a pop of colour, and yes Pink being the colour, I love how it turned out, hope you like too.
I made another of my half circle card, loving creating these with my grand nesties at the moment.
So I used on of those Hobby House Elisabeth Bell Art Colouring Book images and coloured in her monotone, well apart from a splash of hot pink.  I used white for the base layer and the shocking pink card as the first colour layer and for the contrast, The papers well I remember stroking these for ages before a crafting friend gave me therapy and finally I opened the stack and dated to cut into them.  They are Paris Nights, don't you just love a good flocked paper. I used a white gel pen to create my faux stitching.    I created the sentiment on the computer and used a nestie to cut it out.  I made a triple bow with that lush ribbon along with a fancy button and black rose from the Hobby House and some beautiful tulips again in shocking pink from Clickit4Crafts.  I finished off with a few grey fern branches from my Marianne strip die, some shocking pink pearls and lots of those aura rhinestones from the Hobby House.  All of the items used today can be found on the links in my Where I shop page.
The ribbon, which I have to say was ordered in by the wonderful Bev at Crafty Ribbons just for me, so is not in the store but you can like I did mail in to Bev who is wonderful and will help you in anyway with any special requirement.

Here is a close up of the copic coloured image and a little of that gorgeous satin ribbon

As always I would like to welcome all of my new followers and thank all of my wonderful visitors, who leave a comment so that I can hop over and see your own fabulous work.

I would like to enter the following challenges with this little number

Happy Birthday Dad for Wild Rose Studio

Good morning to you all

A busy week for my scheduling I am afraid so here is the second post for today, to see my Guest Designer creation for Elisabeth Bell Challenge, please scroll down, however this is my normal day for my addiction to those

products.  I went with some more colouring with my Distress Inks, just so enjoying playing with these.

So Using
Image - Dad Balloons
Papers - Icing on the Cake
Die - Corner Flourish

Here is a Dad Birthday Card

The base layer and contrast is a lovely lemon and I have used one of my new MFT circle dies with that lovely pierced edge and layered this onto a plain circle nestie.  I used one of my MS edge punches for the layer and added the flourish die to the corner before finishing off with those gorgeous Hobby House (see where I shop) pearls, fancy button, charm and ribbon.

Here is the close up of that sweet image
As always I love to say hello to my new followers, and thank all of my visitors for their lovely comments, which allows me to visit you in return to leave you some love on your own creations.

"Summertime" with Elisabeth Bell's Challenge

Good morning to you all

Fingers crossed this has posted at the correct time :)

I was thrilled the other week to be lucky enough to be chosen as a winner at

thank you ladies, and I got to choose two lovely digi images, took me ages as you can imagine, but that was not all of the winnings, as they also asked me if I would like to be a Guest Designer for them, well it would have been so rude not too, and I so enjoyed playing to create this little number to meet the challenge theme of

Summertime

So I do hope you will hop over and join in the challenge, and here is my creation
I decided it was about time I used up some of my purchases from Whichcraft, so used this centre step card to create a scene of Summertime.  The pearl strings from the Hobby House are representing the pebble pathway, the lovely layer of blooms from Clickit4Crafts is the flower border.  The little fence is cut on my silhouette as is the little open gate.  I used a Marianne die to create the grass (three layers of colours), I added the beautiful trellis from the Floral Frame set by Wild Rose Studio. I added more flowers on the trellis.  I added two little birds coloured with copics.  The silhouette cut sunshine.  The Memory Box clouds.  The sentiment is from Wild Rose Studio from the birthday greetings set. The oval decorative die is a nestie.  The image pierced die from My Mum's Craft shop, loving this at the moment.  The image is from those new Hobby House Art Colouring Books Elisabeth Bell - Merry Weather and believe it or not the papers that you can hardly see are from Lidl.

Here is the straight on view

and the close up of that beautiful image coloured in copics

Well I hope that has inspired you to enter the challenge too, as I would love to see you over there.

As always I would like to welcome my new followers and say thank you to all my wonderful visitors, that leave such lovely comments that allow me to visit you all in return.

I would like to enter the following challenges

Wedding Bunting

Good morning to you all

wow what a week that was, hope you all had a great week too.

I am back today to show you some more of the Wedding Order that I have recently just finished.  This is the two sets of bunting, one for the head table and the other for the Candy Buffet

Sorry about the photo's it is really difficult to capture both sets together but hopefully you can see them well enough.

I made both layers of the bunting by creating my own silhouette cameo cut files :)  Then from the online store I located the font for the wording and also the rosettes.  I spent ages over a few Saturday's watching my lovely machine cut out all of the bits and then as you can imagine spent quite a while longer putting it all together.

The ribbon from Crafty Ribbons a thank you to Bev for the speedy delivery.
Grab our badge and share the wonderful world of ribbon

All of the flowers are from Clickit4Crafts, of which again, I would like to send my heartfelt thanks to the wonderful ladies for matching perfectly the colours I sent over.  The colours for the wedding are shocking pink and orange and wow what a job they did.  I cannot thank them enough.  So do hop and visit them they have the most amazing customer service.

Wild Rose Studio Soft Ted

Good morning to you all

Now I have had my distress markers for some time and have been quietly practicing with them.

Before I go on I would like to thank the wonderful
for her advice and guidance and hope I did you proud.  So this is my first card created with my water coloured image and it just had to be with one of those

images.  As you know how much I love them.  So with a birthday card

Using
Sentiment - Birthday Greetings
What do you think!!!!!
I made another half circle card with my grand nesties.  The base colour and contrast is pink with aqua Papermania paper, one of my new MFT dies.  I made all the flowers from the same papers before adding some white sprigs and some leaves and just a small swirl of pearls from the Hobby House.  In the centre of some of the flowers are pearl brads and spacers also from the Hobby House.

Here is a close up if I dare, I am hoping I got the shading right

I have recently had so many lovely comments, especially on my last post my Wedding car, and I am touched by them all, you are all so kind.  I would also like to welcome my new followers and will be hopping over to say hi to you all soon.

Wedding Car

Good morning to you all

and wow what a lovely week it has been, I have had my legs out all week, which means they are no  where near the colour of my creation today (white).  Now I have been over the past few months, working on a large wedding order and the Pièce de résistance is the creation I am sharing with you today.  Now I do have to warn you this post is photo heavy, but I am sure when you see why you will understand.  I did make one of these a while ago, from a template I purchased.  However I decided with the assistance of my wonderful hubby Matt to firstly make lots of changes to the design and secondly to make it into a cut file for my silhouette cameo, so I can make lots more easily in the future.

okay so I have gone on enough let me show you, the creation I made for the lovely lady at work for the Bride as the Wedding Card

This is the side view, all of the embellishments you see here except for the flowers and ribbon are from the Hobby House.

The ribbon from Crafty Ribbons a thank you to Bev for getting me the size and colour.

All of the flowers are from Clickit4Crafts, of which I would like to send my heartfelt thanks to the wonderful ladies for matching perfectly the colours I sent over.  The colours for the wedding are shocking pink and orange and wow what a job they did.  I cannot thank them enough.  So do hop and visit them they have the most amazing customer service.

The front where I have added rhinestone sparklers in the head lamps, the double heart charm with a heart rhinestone sparkler set in it.

The little wing mirrors made by my lovely hubby and the bird emblem like those posh cars

The little pearl bow handles and the rhinestone sparklers on the front of the wing mirrors.  The pink ribbon and strings of pearls

The rear lights little red rhinestone sparklers, the hub caps those lovely pearl brads.  The number plate is one of my dies.

The sentiment is a new one from Grimsby Crafts, just perfect.  You can see the shocking orange ribbon here.

A top view to see the seats and the stearing wheel which is a button from my stash.

The close up of my husbands wonderful work, the pink wire made windscreen wipers and the wing mirrors which were frantaged too.

Another close up of the back.

And finally with the help of a McVities Biscuit box and the awesome ideas from my wonderful hubby, the acetate presentation box.

oh all of the orange and pink card is from Papermill Direct.

The little tag on the front ready to be personalised by my work lady.

If you look carefully in the reflection you can see the next wedding piece I will share with you.

I had such fun making this and I am thrilled with the results as is the new owner.

Delicious Frosty Scene

Good Morning to you all in the land of blog

Friday again and another Christmas card for you, this one full of glitter and what a mess it was to make too, but love how it turned out.
So this one is made with white card and red glitter card and some of my new nesties :) love how they layer up so beautifully and they seemed the perfect base for this gorgeous Delicious Doodles image.  The image itself was just printed onto my normal card in greyscale.  It did not need any colouring at all as the shading is done for you, so a real quick card all in all.

The time was taken to add the little stickles red tree baubles and the frosted lace stickles for the snow all around, here is a close up
Just one beautiful image don't you think?
I would like to say hello to all my new followers, and I would like to thank all of my wonderful visitors who take the time to leave me such inspirational and kind comments, and this then allows me to hop on over and visit you in return.
